Kanjivaram sarees are the soul of Karnataka's textile industry, woven by weavers skilled in the traditional technique. The nine yards long fabric with temples patterned on it. Kanjivaram handloom raw silk ensures wearability as well as its full body texture and fluidity. Traditionally, they were made entirely out of pure finished Kancheepuram (Chennai) zari, but now artificial zaris also employed to make these sarees cost effective while retaining a similar look!

 

Maintenance of Saree:

It is advisable to wash the saree by hand in plain water for the first three washes. Do not machine wash. Avoid drying in direct sunlight. Do not iron directly.
